CPAP Mask Cushion Sizing Guide

CPAP Full-Face Mask Cushion Sizing Guide

Choosing the correct mask cushion size is important for comfort, a good seal, and effective therapy.

How to Measure

  1. Stand in front of a mirror.

  2. Using a ruler or tape measure, measure the distance from:

    • the bridge of your nose (between your eyes)

    • straight down to the bottom of your chin

  3. This measurement is called Face Length (A).

Choose Your Cushion Size

Use your Face Length (A) measurement to select the correct cushion size:

  • Small (S): 80 mm – 90 mm

  • Medium (M): 90 mm – 100 mm

  • Large (L): 100 mm – 115 mm

Helpful Tips

  • Measure more than once to ensure accuracy.

  • If your measurement falls between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger size for a better seal and improved comfort.

  • A correctly sized cushion should sit comfortably on your face without excessive tightening.

    Nasal Mask Sizing Guide

Choosing the correct nasal mask size helps ensure a comfortable fit, proper seal, and effective CPAP therapy.

    Step 1: How to Measure

Using a ruler or tape measure, take the following measurements in centimeters (cm):

    • Distance A (Nose Width):
Measure the width of your nose at the widest point (just above the nostrils).

    • Distance B (Nose Height):
Measure from the bridge of your nose down to the base of your nose.

Make sure the ruler is straight and measurements are taken without pressing into the skin.

Step 2: Choose Your Mask Size

Match your measurements to the table below:

    • Small (S):

      • Distance A: 4.8 cm

      • Distance B: 5.2 cm

    • Medium (M):

      • Distance A: 5.0 cm

      • Distance B: 5.6 cm

    • Large (L):

      • Distance A: 5.3 cm

      • Distance B: 6.0 cm

    Step 3: Fitting the Mask

    1. Attach the headgear to the nasal mask.

    2. Place the mask gently over your nose.

    3. Pull the headgear over your head.

    4. Adjust the top and side straps evenly.

    5. Tighten only until the mask seals comfortably.

    6. Check for air leaks and adjust if necessary.

    Helpful Tips

    • Do not overtighten — a nasal mask should seal gently.

    • If your measurements fall between two sizes, choose the larger size.

    • A well-fitting mask should feel secure without causing pressure or discomfort.
